After the procedural sedation endoscopy, our medical team will be observing the client’s conditions in the recovery room. You are required to meet the following conditions when you return home.

• Your blood pressure, pulse, etc. should be stabilized.
• You should be able to walk without support.
• You should be able to drink.
• You should feel the desire to urinate.
• Your nausea should be minimized.

If you are a client or guardian, please check the conditions above, and report to the physician in charge. Also, clients should refrain from performing the following activities on the day of examination as they may experience transient memory loss even when they are fully conscious.

• Driving
• Operating a machine
• Activities that require concentration
• Making important decisions
• Attending important meetings or explanation (must be accompanied by a guardian!!)

It is strongly recommended that you refrain from the activities above on the day of your endoscopy. A day’s rest is most preferred. Should you have any inquiries, please contact the endoscopy team in the Health Promotion Center by calling the number below.
