Hospitalization guide

Hospitalization information

• Hospitalization procedure will be done at 13th window for hospitalization, 1st floor of outpation clinic building
• Please prepare your own personal goods and if you cannot prepare, you can buy it at the hospital
• Foreign patients who are admitted through the International Healthcare Business Center will receive toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body cleanser, towel, slippers and water cup free of charge.
• Bedding and meals for guardians are not provided.

Discharge guide

• In general, Doctor in charge will announce your discharge one day before your discharge.
• On the day of discharge, the Insurance review department will examine the medical expenses and notify the nursing room of the exact discharge fee.
• According to the instructions, a patient pays the medical expenses at the reception desk
• You can go to the pharmacy with your receipt and take your medicine.
• Discharge on public Holidays, Sunday: Holidays and Sundays are not working days, so medical expenses will be settled without examination by Insurance review department. After the discharge, the Insurance review department will examine and give you the correct amount, and additional costs may arise.
• If you medical certificate, receipt, etc., please let us know one day before your discharge (immediately after the notice of discharge). Please note that it is not possible to issue a medical certificate and prescription on the day of discharge.

Cautions when issuing certificates

• When Patient request issuing certificates: Patient ID card
• When the guardian request issuing certificates: Patient’s identification card, card, family identification document
• If the patient is a minor: Guardian’s identification card, family relationship document
• For agent (insurance company, non-family member): Copy of patient ID card, ID card, consent form, letter of proxy

Guide for visiting patient

• Only one guardian with a pass can enter the ward.
• If you do not have a pass, please visit in the time available for your visit

  General ward	- Weekday: 18:00~20:00 - Weekend and holiday: 10:00~12:00, 18:00~20:00
  Psychiatry ward	- Man: Every Tuesday, Saturday 16:00~17:30 - Woman: Every Thursday, Sunday 16:00~17:30
  Intensive care unit	Department of Internal medicine, Surgery, Neurosurgery, Trauma surgery and Intensive care unit	Weekday: 19:00~19:30 Weekend and Holiday: 11:00~11:30
  	Cardiovascular, cerebrovascular emergency room	11:00~11:30
  	NICU	13:30~14:00, 19:30~20:00
