Welcome to the Kyungpook National University Hospital (KNUH) website and thank you very much for visiting.
Founded as a general hospital in 1907 under the Korean emperor’s decree to train physicians, KNUH is made up of the headquarters that includes the Regional Emergency Center, the Regional Trauma Center, and the Regional Cardiac Center, and the Chilgok branch that includes the regional cancer center, the geriatric care center, and a children’s hospital.
As the sole “research-driven hospital” in the region outside Seoul and the Seoul Capital Area, KNUH has continued its research to achieve further medical advancements. Furthermore, KNUH is committed to fostering medical specialists and currently building a new clinical practice unit to train its medical staff working across 700 beds.
Under the philosophy of “human life first,” KNUH has adopted state-of-the-art medical devices such as VERO, the most up-to-date version of da Vinci Xi, and gamma knife Perfection, to offer as precise and prompt health services as possible. At KNUH, we are particularly proud of our various interdisciplinary clinics, which provide robotic surgical procedures, minimally invasive procedures, and arteriovenous malformation treatment with unparalleled expertise.
