Department of Rehabilitation Medicine
Rehabilitation medicine specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with impaired functions caused by illness or trauma. The department pursues comprehensive care and helps patients achieve and maintain optimal levels of physical and mental health as well as social activity. Aside from disease treatment, our aim is to ultimately improve the quality of life of patients.
The KNUH Department of Rehabilitation provides care in detailed specialty areas, including stroke, traumatic brain damage, spinal damage, musculoskeletal pain, pediatric development, and post-amputation rehabilitation. Efforts are also being made to offer quality healthcare to patients in need of treatment using a wide array of facilities such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, linguistic therapy, dysphagia therapy room, and electric/thermal therapy rooms.
