The Department of Medical Imaging is one of the fastest-growing clinical fields, thanks to advancements in diagnostic imaging technology such as: computed tomography (CT) including X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that uses changes in magnetic field strength to identify lesions in the human body and represent them in photographs, ultrasound imaging, remote imaging diagnosis, picture archiving and communication system (PACS), and advanced digital imaging diagnostic technology. Using these imaging technologies allows access to any organ in the body and replaces surgical treatments or aids physical and surgical treatments. Such interventional imaging is also one of the most important areas of medical imaging.
